Our Climate. Our Health.
At the end of 2015, the eyes of the world will be on Paris for COP21. Over 25,000 official delegates from across the world, including negotiators, health and finance ministers, and civil society, will gather to agree on the global response to climate change.
The health profession is mobilising to let them know that our health matters, and that any response must ensure protect and promote human security and wellbeing for us and future generations. Our Climate. Our Health. is supporting a number of initiatives to do just that. There are several ways you can get involved; follow the links on the images to the right to find out more. About the campaign
Our Climate. Our Health. is a campaign coordinated by the Global Climate and Health Alliance (of which Healthy Planet UK are members) that aims to put health at the heart of the COP21 climate change negotiations taking place in Paris in December 2015. It hopes to empower and mobilise the health profession to advocate for strong climate action as a prerequisite for public health protection, and to ensure that policy makers and the public are aware both of the grave threat to human health posed by climate change, and the tremendous opportunity for public health offered by strong mitigation policy.
